Directions to the Courthouse
Parking for Jurors

Jurors should park at the One Seaport Garage. The entrance is located at 75 Sleeper St. directly across from the Envoy Hotel. The garage is located across from the entrance to the U.S District Court. Please bring your ticket with you to receive a validation sticker. Jurors will be required to pay for parking for all other lots and will be reimbursed in full by check in approximately 7-10 business days.


Inclement Weather Policy

During the school year (September through June):

If the Boston Public Schools are delayed or canceled due to adverse weather conditions, jury service will be cancelled for that day. If you call 1-800-882-1249, information will be available as early as 5:45 AM on the day you are scheduled to report. Thereafter, please call again after 5:00 PM on the day prior to your scheduled report date for any updated reporting instructions.

During the summer months and when Public Schools are in recess: Please call 1-800-882-1249 as early as 5:45 AM on the morning you are scheduled to report for jury service for any updated reporting instructions.


Tips for Riding the MBTA

Tips for Riding the MBTA during COVID-19 Pandemic: Blue, Red, Orange, Green Lines and Commuter Rails:

  • Face coverings are required on the train and at stops and stations
  • Travel at off peak times if possible
  • Stay distant from other riders when possible
  • The T can help if you forgot your mask or need hand sanitizer
  • Sanitize your hands before and after riding. If you feel like your hands become unclean, avoid touching your face until you can clean them
  • Only one group traveling together per elevator
  • Touch items at the stations are being cleaned every 4 hours and trains mid-day and every night

Directions to the Courthouse
Parking for Jurors

It is best to park in the Civic Center Parking Garage which has entrances on Harrison Ave. and Bruce Landon Way. Please bring the ticket with you to the courthouse so we can validate the parking. If you have a vehicle that cannot fit in the Civic Center Parking garage, there is an open lot located on Bruce Landon Way next to the Civic Center Parking garage. We can reimburse for that lot but not validate. To get to the courthouse you will need to walk on Dwight St. then make at State St. and walk past the Chestnut Towers apartment complex and the Dr. Seuss Museum and finally St. Michael's Cathedral.


Inclement Weather Policy

Jurors who have been instructed to report for jury selection should call 413-785-6833 or 1-800-882-1249 after 6:15AM for a message regarding the status of court operations.

Jurors who are serving on a trial will be advised to call the clerk’s office (Judge Mastroianni’s jurors: 413-785-6808; Magistrate Judge Robertson’s jurors: 413-785-6802) after 6:15 AM on the morning of the trial. A message will be recorded by the judge’s clerk regarding the status of court operations (whether the trial is being held that day or not, or is beginning at a later time).

Parking for Jurors

Jurors should park at the Federal Plaza Garage located at 570 Main St. Jurors will be required to pay for parking ($13) and will be reimbursed in full by check in approximately 7-10 business days.


Inclement Weather Policy

During the school Year (September through June): If the Worcester Public Schools are canceled due to adverse weather conditions, jury service will be cancelled for that day. If Worcester Public Schools are delayed due to adverse weather conditions, jury service will be delayed by the same amount of time as the school delay for that day. For example, if Worcester Public Schools are delayed by one hour, jurors will appear for service one hour later than the designated start time for that day. If you call 1-800-882-1249, information will be available as early as 6:15 AM on the day you are scheduled to report. Thereafter, please call again after 5:00 PM on the day prior to your scheduled report date for any updated reporting instructions.

During the summer months and when the public schools are in recess: The presiding judge will determine any change in the court schedule. Jurors will be notified by the courtroom deputy.
