Access
There are two public entrances to the Moakley Courthouse: one on Northern Avenue and the other on the Fan Pier Park side. The Fan Pier entrance may be used by employees and all persons with bar cards or media IDs. The general public is directed to enter via the Northern Avenue entrance.
Access for Persons with Disabilities
The public entrance to the John J. Moakley Courthouse is located on ground level and is accessible by persons with disabilities. There is a pressable button that automatically opens both the exterior door and interior door leading to the main lobby. There are elevators on the ground level leading to all public floors.
Parking
Parking is available in various garages and lots near the Courthouse. Parking fees and availability vary by location and are subject to change. Therefore, visitors are encouraged to check with each parking location for updated rates and availability and/or consider utilizing public transportation options.

Juror Parking
Jurors should park at the One Seaport Garage. The entrance is located at 75 Sleeper St. directly across from the Envoy Hotel. The garage is located across from the entrance to the U.S District Court. Please bring your ticket with you to receive a validation sticker. Jurors will be required to pay for parking for all other lots and will be reimbursed in full by check in approximately 7-10 business days.

Access
The public entrance to the U.S. Courthouse is located on the corner of State and Eliot Streets.
Access for Persons with Disabilities
A handicap-accessible ramp to the entrance is located on State Street and will bring you to the entrance doors where an automatic door button will open the exterior and interior doors leading to the main lobby. If you are visiting the U.S. Courthouse for a hearing and have a current handicap placard, please contact the U.S. District Court clerk's office at 413-785-6800 for information on using a handicap accessible parking spot at the courthouse.

Juror Parking
It is best to park in the Civic Center Parking Garage which has entrances on Harrison Ave. and Bruce Landon Way. Please bring the ticket with you to the courthouse so we can validate the parking. If you have a vehicle that cannot fit in the Civic Center Parking garage, there is an open lot located on Bruce Landon Way next to the Civic Center Parking garage. We can reimburse for that lot but not validate. To get to the courthouse you will need to walk on Dwight St. and make a left on State St. and walk past the Chestnut Towers apartment complex and the Dr. Seuss Museum and finally St. Michael's Cathedral.
