Attention: Reports of Spam Email with Virus
There are reports of an email circulating through the internet which may cause recipients to believe that it is a legitimate email from the courts. However, it is not legitimate email from the courts.
Email sent by the courts will always be from our domain 'uscourts.gov' The spam email sender may be 'live_ecf' at the domain 'hotmail.com ' The email subject contains verbiage that could appear case related, such as: "Case Closed.The Chapter 7 No Distribution case having been fully administered, the case is hereby closed. The Trustee in this case is hereby discharged."
If this or other suspicious emails are received, they should be reported to your local IT department. |

The Federal District Court Criminal Justice Act Board will accept applications for approximately 30 positions on the present District Court panel list for appointment to indigent cases in Boston. The Board will also accept applications for a limited number of positions on the Worcester CJA panel. There are no openings on the Springfield CJA panel for this application period. Applications should be submitted by May 31, 2003. |
